# Custom MCP connectors

> Give Ordyn's agents access to your own tools through remote MCP servers.

If your team has internal tools that expose a remote MCP server, you can add them to Ordyn. The Ordyn Build Agent can then use them while writing fixes, for example to look up an internal service catalog or run a project-specific check.

## Add a connector

From **Connections**, under custom MCP connectors:

1. Enter the HTTP MCP server URL and choose how to authenticate: bearer token, custom header, or OAuth.
2. Confirm the connection. For OAuth servers, Ordyn confirms the server is reachable and completes login when the agent connects.
3. Give it a title and write instructions telling the agent when to use it.

Saved connectors are on by default. You can add more than one. Tokens and header values are stored encrypted.
